Stallion Information and Show Results:
2007 USDF Reserve Champion Mature Stallion Horse of the Year. Showing under saddle in 2007 was limited by a six-month recovery from an injury, but in 2006, his first dressage season, at only 5 years old, he qualified for the FEI 6 yo test and Training to 3rd Level dressage. He only showed a few times at each level, almost always winning the qualifier with the high score of show, and would easily have been in the top USDF HOY rankings. He also received the highest average of any Swedish horse from Training to Third Level. Although Masterpiece qualified, he did not attend regional finals. However, his half sibling (same dam), Raymeister, won Regionals (again). Raymeister is the 2006 USDF HOY, a three-time winner at DAD, consistently scores 9 gaits, and won the 2002 Stallion Performance Test. Masterpiece has won in rated hunters, received dressage scores as high as 84% under saddle (always scoring 8 – 10 gaits!), 88% in hand, won at Dressage at Devon, and was Reserve Champion at the 2004 Stallion Short Test.
