Stallion Information and Show Results:
Electus offers a blend of consistently superior performance horses in both jumping and dressage. On his sire’s side, Electus has the impeccable bloodlines of his grandsire, Furioso II combined with his Grand dam’s wonderful Hannoverian line. Furioso II was the most prized sporthorse sire for a decade in Germany, his get winning the most money in both jumping and dressage. On his dam’s side, he benefits from some of the best Swedish breeding with Rustina, described as “one of the stud mares in Sweden”, and Kokard, the sire of the renowned Drabant. Electus was bred in Sweden and imported to the U.S. With extremely limited showing, he proved himself at dressage and hunter/jumper. He consistently received marks of “8” on gaits and comments such as “lovely, elastic mover... Impressive horse...” Electus represents a combination of the best of German and Swedish bloodlines. He has a forgiving disposition coupled with an international quality athleticism. At age 30 in 2009, Electus has two lovely, modern-type 2009 fillies on the ground from the only two mares covered. A small 2010 crop is expected. He is in magnificent condition for a stallion of his years and a 2009 fertility check revealed his continued viability, even for frozen semen.
