SWANA offers two levels of pedigree research.
This fee covers research required for non-SWB mares that are being considered for breeding to SWB stallions and for research required to complete horse registration. (The current fee is US $ 25).
A one-time fee covers pedigree research involved in determining whether a non-SWB stallion can be approved for breeding to an SWB mare. (The current fee is US $ 75).
Note: This type of breeding approval is not the same as licensing a stallion. For more information on the process for having a stallion fully approved and licensed, please review our Stallion Evaluation section.
